For those who want an exceptional day, a rich combination of history, boat trip and swimming, we offer you the Gulf of Mirabello. Road to Elounda, this pleasant fishing village, at the port by boat, crossing to Spinalonga (approx. 20 minutes): The island of lepers, with the old Venetian fortress. Walk through the alleys and ramparts and take the opportunity to make numerous memories. It was on this island that Victoria Hislop’s book “The Island” was inspired. Back to Elounda where you will have the opportunity to swim in the clear waters and have lunch in a greek taverna. Afterward, we continue by bus to Agios Nikolaos, one of the biggest cities of the island. Free time to walk around the lake, try its succulent sheep's milk ice creams and you will be able to buy souvenirs.
