Meet at the train station (910 m) or at the Col de Vizzavona (1,161 m):
For the half-day trip, departure is next to the hotel, 500 m from the pass (5 minutes by car from the train station, from where we can transfer you) - for the full-day trip, we can depart directly from the train station.
Climb up a pretty little ridge to the Fortin de Vizzavona, then into a valley in the shade of the beech trees to one or two optional small peaks on the granite moraine (1457 m or even 1632 m) with a beautiful view of the waterfall and the Gravona Valley, before descending towards hidden sheepfolds (1360 m) and the crystal clear basins of the Cascade des Anglais, with a finish on the famous northern GR20: +/- 250 to 350 m, 4.5 to 6 km, 3 to 4 hours for the half-day, 5 to 6 hours for the full day
Option to do the loop in reverse depending on the participants' level
