Informations sur le produit

Visit select spy sites in the iconic Georgetown neighborhood with a former intelligence officer. Along the way your expert guide shares personal anecdotes from their time overseas and interprets the remarkable history shaped by the people who called this neighborhood home, including leaders, heroes and traitors. Learn about the unique mindset of this profession as you explore the unique roles residents played in espionage during WWII and the Cold War. Hear more about impersonal communication and how it mitigates against risk and test the theory by reading a signal site and unloading a dead drop.

Don’t forget your walking shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather.

*Note: This tour begins outside of Oak Hill Cemetery at the intersection of Rst. and 30th St NW and ends about .7 mile away outside of Martin's Tavern.

We recommend the Spy Kids Mission Training experience for travelers with children ages 12 and under.

When booking make note of THE AGENT MEETING INSTRUCTIONS so you have the code words to exchange with your host!

Our Hosts:
Rosanna Minchew has 20+ years of experience in intelligence, security, and risk, including 15 years at CIA in operational and leadership positions in Latin America, Europe, South Asia, Iraq and Washington D.C. Today, Rosanna continues to participate in scenario-based training in the intelligence space, has advised on interdiction efforts by U.S. Customs & Border Protection, and has been integral in insider risk investigations in the oil and energy sector.

George: A former Senior National Security Officer with 30 years of experience with the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of State, and as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army. He served multiple assignments in Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and South Asia leading intelligence collection operations. He also led the CIA’s advanced tradecraft school and worked in the CIA’s Counterintelligence Center.

Will: Can neither confirm nor deny that he served in CIA's Directorate of Operations for the better part of a decade, during which he worked in countries across Africa and South Asia. He also spent time at the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department. When most people think of Washington, they think only of the beautiful monuments or Congressional intrigue. Will lives in DC and is eager to share an insider’s perspective of his city’s real intrigue - what spies do in the shadows after dark.
