You've never paddled before, right? If you're a first-time kayaker, this is the perfect option for you. We'll start from the basics, get a one-on-one lesson to get the necessary skills and confidence, then go on water.

We are Nicoló and Aleksandra, a young couple living in Venice. Members of a prominent rowing club, we practice water sports every day. We invite you to experience Venice by water with us. Let us show you Venice from another perspective — cultural, sports-oriented and local.

Learn to kayak in the authentic area of Venice - Castello, beautiful district famous for the Medieval Arsenal. We will take you to this unique Medieval site and immerse you in the history.

Visit the historically important Venetian rowing club, as it is the best place to immerse yourself in Venice's history, traditions, and contemporary life. By participating in our activities, you contribute to preserving this unique and historically significant site. Part of your fee goes to support the restoration and maintenance of the club.

Please be aware, kayaking is a sport activity. Please check out our requirements.
We will reach out to you to determine your level of experience. In some cases, the guide may transfer your booking to another group that has the same skill level as yours.

  • Know Before You Go: 1. A trainee will be asked to sign a waiver&release of liability.

  • Know Before You Go: 2. The class can be rescheduled by the instructor in case of bad weather conditions and changes in the club’s work schedule the project is based in. A trainee will be contacted to reschedule. The instructor has the right to cancel the class without refund if a trainee does not meet the requirements or arrives drunk/drugged.

  • Know Before You Go: 3. Physical exertion is required. Your paddling skills should be basic. People with serious disabilities and pregnant women will not be accepted.

  • Know Before You Go: 4. We often encounter waves of one foot (30-40 cm) and boat traffic.

  • Know Before You Go: 5. Children can participate in the same double kayak with their parents or instructors.

  • Know Before You Go: 6. If 1 person books for a specific tour, the guide may reschedule to unite with a shared group.
