Product Info

On this walking tour, we’ll visit the beautiful neighborhood of Trastevere, known for its narrow streets and charming atmosphere—but we’ll focus on the peaceful spots that most tourists never see.

As we walk, we’ll discover amazing places hidden behind simple doors—like a quiet church where you’ll find a statue made by the famous artist Bernini. With special access from the nuns, we’ll go down into the underground crypt of the Church of Santa Cecilia, where ancient ruins lie five meters below the street.

Next, we’ll cross over to Tiber Island, which was once used to keep sick people away during old epidemics. Then we’ll walk across Rome’s oldest bridge—the same one that Julius Caesar and Cleopatra once walked on.

We’ll end our tour in the Jewish Ghetto, one of the oldest parts of Rome, where you’ll learn about 300 years of history, hardship, and the strong spirit of its community.

This tour is perfect if you want to escape the crowds and experience a more authentic side of Rome.
