Product Info

Experience Hanoi's history from the back of a traditional cyclo on a private journey through some of the city's most important cultural and historical landmarks. All transfers between the main sightseeing areas are made by traditional cyclo

Meet your private guide at the Temple of Literature at 8:00 AM, Vietnam's first national university and one of Hanoi's most important cultural landmarks.

Spend approximately 45 minutes exploring the historic complex and learn about Vietnam's traditional education system, Confucian culture and imperial examinations.

Then begin your first cyclo ride of the day, traveling from the Temple of Literature toward the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Rather than simply transferring between attractions, enjoy the changing scenery of Hanoi and see the city from the relaxed pace of a traditional cyclo.

Arrive at the Ho Chi Minh Complex and explore the area around the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, the fish pond and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Ho Chi Minh Museum to learn about his life and the history of modern Vietnam.

At approximately 11:00 AM, get back on your cyclo for the second major ride of the experience, traveling from the Ho Chi Minh Complex to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site for approximately 1.5 hours. Discover the history of ancient Thang Long, visit the Hanoi Flag Tower and explore the D67 Underground Command Bunker, connecting Hanoi's imperial past with its modern wartime history.

After exploring the citadel, continue by cyclo to Tong Duy Tan Food Street.

The tour ends here at approximately 1:00 PM, giving you free time to choose a local restaurant and enjoy lunch at your own expense.
