Experience the best of Banff National Park on a carefully planned small-group day tour from Calgary, Canmore, or Banff.

After pickup from your selected location, travel comfortably into the Canadian Rockies with your local driver-guide. Along the way, enjoy beautiful mountain scenery while your guide shares helpful information about the area, wildlife safety, sightseeing stops, and the best photo opportunities.

Your tour begins with a visit to Moraine Lake, one of the most famous and photographed lakes in Canada. Surrounded by the Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is known for its bright turquoise water and dramatic mountain views. Guests will have approximately 1 hour to enjoy the lake, take photos, walk near the shoreline, and visit nearby viewpoints if conditions allow.

Next, continue to Lake Louise, another iconic destination in the Canadian Rockies. Known for its glacier-fed water and the stunning backdrop of Victoria Glacier, Lake Louise is a must-see stop. Guests will have approximately 1 hour to walk along the lakeshore, relax, take photos, or purchase snacks and drinks nearby.

After visiting the lakes, continue toward the Town of Banff. Enjoy free time on Banff Avenue, the heart of Banff town, where guests can have lunch, grab coffee, shop for souvenirs, or explore the mountain-town atmosphere. This stop is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

During the Banff portion of the tour, guests may choose to enjoy the Banff Gondola or the Banff Upper Hot Springs. The Banff Gondola offers panoramic mountain views from the top of Sulphur Mountain, while the Banff Upper Hot Springs offers a relaxing mineral-water experience surrounded by mountain scenery. These activities are optional and require an additional fee, paid separately by guests. Guests who do not wish to participate in either activity may continue enjoying free time in Banff.

The tour also includes scenic photo stops at Cascade of Time Garden, Bow Falls Viewpoint, and Lake Minnewanka, depending on timing, traffic, weather, and parking conditions. These stops offer beautiful views of gardens, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, and the lake, with possible wildlife viewing around Lake Minnewanka.

At the end of the day, guests will be dropped off at one of the selected drop-off locations: Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa, Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown, or 2801 Bow Valley Trail in Canmore.
