Get familiar with the locals' favourite way of moving around in a snow-covered forest—snowmobiling. Our experienced snowmobile guide will teach you how to drive a snowmobile and lead you to the wintery nature.

Wander through the white forest and frozen waters on maintained snowmobile tracks. Enjoy the chance of a lifetime to see what Lapland has to offer.

In the middle of the trip we will have a small break to enjoy hot drinks and tasty biscuits. This safari is suitable for the whole family!

You will be sharing a snowmobile between 2 people. Contact us at least 48h in advance if you need a pick up to come to our office within a 10km radius. Otherwise the meeting location will be our Safartica Office in Levi 20 minutes before the activity time. Missing the meeting time outside reasonable delays will incur the loss of the money paid for the activity.

To drive a snowmobile, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid physical driver's license, as required by Finnish law.

  • Know Before You Go: Not suitable for infants 0-3 years old. Children 4-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. If a child is over 140 cm, is strong enough to hold onto the handles, and wishes to ride on a snowmobile as a passenger, an adult ticket must be bought

  • Know Before You Go: Not recommended for pregnant women and people with fragile musculoskeletal system

  • Know Before You Go: The driver is liable for damages up to 990€/accident. A completely optional insurance of 20€ lowers the liability to 150€ and can be purchased on the spot before the tour

  • Know Before You Go: Safartica Levi Office is located in the city centre. If you are staying in the city, select Safartica Levi as meeting point
