San Pedro de Atacama: Guided Trip to the Salt Mountain Range｜Chile

We will meet at the TourisTour plaza in San Pedro de Atacama at the agreed time, and from there we will travel to one of the most iconic places in the Valley of the Moon. This is the Cordillera de la Sal, whose landscapes will surely surprise you.

Upon arrival, we will contemplate the geological wonders of the Cordillera de la Sal, whose mountains stand out for their extraordinary range of colors. As we will see, wind erosion has given rise to a unique landscape of dunes and ancient salt rivers.

During the tour through this unique place we will also see the remains of an ancient means of transportation called the magic bus. What does this bus mean? Why is he stranded in one of the driest deserts in the world? It won't take us long to find out!

As a final touch, we will contemplate a romantic sunset over the Salt Mountain Range. We will experience a unique moment, in which we will observe how the tones of the sunset illuminate the immensity of the desert in a very special way. We will also have an aperitif that includes nuts, sweet cookies, juices, a bag of chips and a drink, choosing between beer or pisco sour.

After enjoying this beautiful Andean sunset, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama. We will leave you in the small square in the center of the town or in another central point, where arrival is scheduled after four hours of activity.
