Discover some of the most iconic landscapes of the Atacama Desert on a full-day excursion to the Altiplano, with transportation, a guide, breakfast, lunch and park admissions already included.

We start early with pickup from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama and head towards the Andean landscapes.

Throughout the day, we'll visit Piedras Rojas, one of the most impressive landscapes in the region, located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters and characterized by the contrast between its reddish formations, the salt flat, the mountains, and the volcanoes.

We'll continue to the Altiplanic Lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques, surrounded by volcanoes and the characteristic landscape of the Chilean Altiplano.

The experience also includes a visit to Chaxa Lagoon in the Salar de Atacama, an important habitat for flamingos and other species adapted to the extreme conditions of the desert.

Along the way, we'll also visit traditional villages such as Socaire and Toconao, learning a little more about the life and culture of the Atacama communities.
