Informations sur le produit

Enjoy a unique experience on one of Chile's most iconic active volcanoes.

The day before your ascent, you'll meet at our agency for a gear check and an informative talk about the activity. The next day, meet at 6:00 a.m. at our office, located at Calle Palguin 336 in Pucon, from where we will depart for the base of Villarrica Volcano.

We'll start the adventure by walking to the first cableway, where you'll have the option of taking a chairlift for an extra cost of 20,000 CLP, saving at least 1.5 hours of trekking. Otherwise, you can walk accompanied by one of our tour guides.
Once we reach the snow and the glacier, the guides will assist you in the use of crampons and ice axes, providing technical instructions and constant support.

After four to six hours of climbing, you'll reach the summit at 2,847 meters, where you can see the impressive volcanic crater and active fumaroles. From the summit, you'll enjoy views of Lake Villarrica and Llaima, Lonquimay, Sierra Nevada, Tolhuaca, Quetrupillan, Lanin, and Sollipulli volcanoes.

We'll spend about 10 minutes at the summit admiring the local beauty before starting the descent, which is done by sliding in the famous snow tubes depending on snow conditions, and also partly by walking if snow conditions require it.

During the excursion, the tour guides will share their experience, wisdom, and connection to the mountain. At the end of the activity, transportation will be ready to take you back to the office in Pucon, where we will finish on our terrace admiring the volcano you have just climbed with a beer and in the company of our tour guides to celebrate your achievement.
