Informations sur le produit

We'll start at our agency or pick you up at your accommodation at 4 AM to begin the ice climbing adventure. From Pucón, we'll travel 36 kilometers to the west face of the Villarrica volcano, or Rukapillan, its native name in Mapudungun, which means "House of the spirits." Once we arrive at Villarrica National Park, we'll get the equipment ready and start the hike among centuries-old coihues and millenary araucarias for 4 kilometers with 600 meters of elevation gain until we reach the edge of the forest and have spectacular views of the volcano. Here, we'll take a short break to enjoy the scenery.
We'll continue for 1.3 kilometers to the entrance to the Voipir glacier, where you'll rope up with the guide and your companions. After the technical safety talk, we'll continue climbing with panoramic views of the lakes and volcanoes of the Andean Araucanía. Around 9 AM, you'll finally arrive at the crevasses and seracs, the main setting of your experience. Here, the guides will prepare anchors and safety systems, and then we'll start the ice climbing. It's time to test your skills in a fun and adrenaline-filled experience.
After enjoying the verticality of the glacier, at 1:30 PM we'll start the descent to the vehicle, where we'll celebrate the success of the experience with natural juice or craft beer. Finally, we'll head back to drop you off at the agency or your place of stay.
