Informations sur le produit

The tour begins in Tromsø and initially runs along one of the most beautiful coastal roads in northern Norway. Even during the ride, guests enjoy impressive views of fjords, snow-capped peaks, and small northern Norwegian villages. We then cross a fjord by ferry. During the crossing, there are fantastic photo opportunities of the majestic mountains of the Lyngen Alps and the clear Arctic water.

After arrival, we will continue to the starting point of the hike. There begins the approximately 4-hour hike (both ways) through the spectacular mountain landscape of the Lyngen Alps. The easily accessible trail leads over rocky paths, small streams, and open tundra areas. Along the way, breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, glaciers, and valleys open up again and again.

The highlight of the tour is the arrival at Blåisvatnet. The famous glacial lake impresses with its intense turquoise-blue water, which gets its extraordinary color from fine glacial rock flour. Surrounded by steep mountain slopes and the mighty Lenangsbreen Glacier, the lake offers one of the most spectacular natural settings in northern Norway. Guests will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, soak up the tranquility of the Arctic wilderness, and enjoy a packed lunch they have brought with them.

After the break by the lake, we will hike back to the parking lot through the same impressive landscape. We will then start the return journey back to Tromsø. On the way, we pass the impressive fjords and mountains of the region again and take the ferry back. After about 8 hours, the tour ends with unforgettable memories of one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in Norway and the unique nature of the Lyngen Alps. The driver does not go with you to the lake and only shows you the way. You go alone.
