Amsterdam: Seal Safari at Wadden Sea UNESCO Site｜Netherlands

On this small group tour you will explore the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site Wadden Sea.
We will pick you up by minivan right in the center of Amsterdam and drive you through the beautiful Dutch countryside: land claimed from the sea; past farms, villages and windmills. Upon arrival, we will board our ship that takes us onto the Wadden Sea. Because of its unique coastal wetlands and tidal system, it is a refuge for a huge number of animals, including marine mammals such as the harbor seals, gray seals and harbor porpoises. Then we will explore the Wadden Sea by boat at low tide, scouting for gray seals, harbor seals and migrating birds. On our way or on our way back we will take a short detour to the authentic and picturesque 17th century village of Twisk, where we can do a short wander through the village.
