Informations sur le produit

Step into Amsterdam's former Jewish Quarter and discover one of Europe's most important Jewish communities, brought to life by a local Jewish guide on this premium, exclusive experience. Your guide shares not only history but personal stories and family connections to this very neighbourhood.

Your tour begins at the Portuguese Synagogue, one of the oldest and largest synagogues in the world, still lit by candlelight just as it was in the 17th century. From there you will explore the heart of Jewish Amsterdam, walking the streets where Sephardic and Ashkenazi families lived, worked, and worshipped from the Golden Age onward.

At the Jewish Museum you will trace the rich religious and cultural life of the community, while the Hollandsche Schouwburg, once a theatre and later a deportation site during the Second World War, tells the story of loss and remembrance. Entry tickets to all three are included.

Along the way you will pause at the National Holocaust Names Memorial, designed by Daniel Libeskind, where more than 102,000 names honour the Dutch Jews, Roma, and Sinti murdered in the Holocaust, and the Auschwitz Memorial in the Wertheimpark.

This is an intimate exclusive small-group premium experience, full of history, reflection, and genuine human connection, that brings the past and present of Jewish Amsterdam together.
