Experience Iceland’s spectacular scenery on a guided journey around the famous Golden Circle. Departing from Reykjavík, travel along the approximately 300-kilometre route and visit some of the country’s best-known natural attractions, including Kerið volcanic crater, Thingvellir National Park, and the impressive Gullfoss waterfall.

Meet your guide and board the minibus in central Reykjavík before setting off to explore the Golden Circle. Your first stop is Thingvellir National Park, where dramatic landscapes and remarkable views reveal the meeting point of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

Continue to the family-run Friðheimar Farm, where tomatoes and cucumbers have been cultivated in greenhouses since 1995. Afterwards, visit the farm’s stables to meet Icelandic horses up close and enjoy the opportunity to pet them. Take some time for lunch at the greenhouse restaurant at your own expense, with a selection of locally made dishes available from the menu.

The journey then takes you to the spectacular Gullfoss Falls, one of Iceland’s most remarkable waterfalls. Watch the powerful streams of water plunge into the Gullfossgjúfur canyon and take in the dramatic surroundings while capturing memorable photos.

Next, travel to Kerið, a striking volcanic crater filled with vivid blue-green water and framed by dark and reddish volcanic slopes. Walk around this fascinating crater lake and learn how volcanic forces have shaped the surrounding landscape over time.
