The route is about 300 kilometers (190 miles) long and can easily be completed in a day from Reykjavík. Visit the Kerið Crater, Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park.

Visit the Geysir Geothermal Area, where the Strokkur geyser erupts every 5-10 minutes, shooting boiling water 20-40 meters into the air.

The area is full of bubbling hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles, giving visitors a close-up view of geothermal activity. Admire the Gullfoss Waterfall, meaning "Golden Falls," one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. The Hvítá river cascades down in two stages into a deep canyon, creating a powerful and stunning sight.
