Learn how the water is used to heat the nearby towns of Borgarnes and Akranes. Next, visit Reykholt Church which has a history dating back to the 12th century.

Continue the tour by visiting the beautiful Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, where water cascades down a former lava flow.
