Begin your journey with a convenient pickup from your hotel, guesthouse, airport, or port in Akureyri. Head to the small herring village of Hjalteyri, where you can take in the sights and hear local tales. Next, move on to the fishing port of Dalvik for some great photo opportunities.

Travel through the mountains to the next fjord, where you will head down to the black sand beach in Olafsfjordur village. Then, continue to the scenic town of Siglufjordur, where the TV series "Trapped" is filmed. In the summer, visit the award-winning Herring Museum.

Finally, stop at Kaldi Microbrewery, where you will have the opportunity to try out their specialty beer.
