Informations sur le produit

Discover Prague’s rich history, stunning architecture, and hidden stories on this engaging walking tour led by a passionate local historian. Our journey begins at the magnificent Municipal House, the city’s finest Art Nouveau building and the place where Czechoslovakia declared its independence in 1918. Just next door stands the impressive Powder Tower, one of Prague’s original medieval city gates and the traditional starting point of the Czech kings’ coronation route.

We continue to the House of the Black Madonna, the world’s best-preserved example of Cubist architecture, before reaching Charles University, founded in 1348 as the oldest university in Central Europe. Nearby, you’ll see the elegant Estates Theatre, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart conducted the world premiere of Don Giovanni in 1787.

In Old Town Square, admire the world-famous Astronomical Clock, one of the oldest working astronomical clocks in the world, and hear the fascinating legends behind its creation. We then stroll through Prague’s historic Jewish Quarter, learning about centuries of Jewish history while viewing the remarkable Old Jewish Cemetery, one of Europe’s oldest surviving Jewish burial grounds. Our walk continues to the beautiful Rudolfinum, home of the Czech Philharmonic and one of Prague’s most important Neo-Renaissance landmarks.

Next, we’ll stop at one of Prague’s most spectacular viewpoints overlooking the iconic Charles Bridge. From here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and have plenty of time to take unforgettable photos while I share the bridge’s history, the stories behind its famous statues, and the legends surrounding its construction.

Afterward, we’ll visit the charming Gingerbread House, where you’ll watch skilled bakers decorate traditional Czech gingerbread cookies by hand and learn about this beloved local tradition. Our tour concludes at the colorful John Lennon Wall, a symbol of freedom, peace, and artistic expression, before ending at David Černý’s Crawling Babies sculpture, one of Prague’s most famous contemporary artworks.

Throughout the tour, you’ll discover hidden details, local legends, historical events, and fascinating stories that most visitors miss. This experience is perfect for first-time visitors and anyone who wants to explore Prague beyond the guidebooks while enjoying plenty of opportunities for amazing photographs.
