At Prague Castle, we will visit both the exterior and interior, where the country's most powerful figures once ruled, including dukes, kings, noble families, and even former alchemists. Built in the 9th century, Prague Castle has long been the residence of important figures. Today, the president of the Czech Republic resides there, and the Crown Jewels of Bohemia are kept inside. As successive monarchs made the castle their seat, they expanded it into the largest inhabited castle in the world, as recorded by Guinness World Records. The interior of the enclosure houses the fascinating Cathedral of San Vitus, the Basilica of San George and the Royal Palace. Once we have visited the Castle, we will visit Malostranske Square (Lesser Town), one of the oldest and most historical places, where you can appreciate the imposing church of Saint Nicolas' Church. We will visit the church of Our Lady of Victory with the famous religious image of the Prague's Child Jesus and Charles Bridge too.
