Informations sur le produit

This 2 km, 2-hour journey begins at Hotel "Budweis" - the oldest corner of the historic center. This very spot is the spiritual and cultural foundation from which the unique character and vibrant spirit of the local people have evolved over the course of 800 years.
Founded as a royal city, it gained numerous privileges - from its founder king Ottakar 2, all the way through the Habsburg reign. Yet, the true, priceless treasure of this place is its people, and they are the heart of this tour. These people taught me their way of life, and it has brought me so much happiness.
Throughout history, the city faced numerous crises and tragedies, yet it always emerged wiser and more prominent. For centuries, it was a melting pot of cultures, primarily Czech and German, and even its names reflected this - historically known in German as "Budweis". The most fascinating part is uncovering the coexistence and competition of bi-national identity up until 1945.
For the tour, please bring comfortable walking shoes and your best mood. See you there!
