Informations sur le produit

We will begin our journey to Lešetice, a town of just 200 inhabitants located 70 kilometers (43 miles) southeast of Prague. We will pass by the Prague Hippodrome and follow the banks of the Vltava River. As we enter the forest, we will see the meeting point. We will be far enough away from the camp so that family members are not shocked by the sight of the barbed wire.

A few meters later, we will reach the gates of the camp. Let’s get ready to be transported back to those times. First, we will climb the camp’s main guard tower. From there, we will give you a panoramic view of the sites we will visit and tell you the history of the Gulag and why it existed.

Next, we will enter what was once the camp command post, now a museum on the Czech Gulag. We will continue through the punishment cells, the re-education room, the infirmary, and the barrack blocks, which have been converted into exhibition rooms dedicated to dissidents and critics. Next, we will see an exhibition on the final battles of the war after its end, and finally, we will visit an exhibition on the mining and use of uranium in the Czech Republic.
