Brudslöjan Waterfalls: Guided Hike & Open-Fire Lunch｜Sweden

Discover Brudslöjan on a small-group wilderness experience with a local certified nature guide.

This adventure is not only about reaching the waterfall. The journey through the forest is just as important.

Hike through old forest, follow small forest streams and discover the nature and stories of this quieter part of Dalarna. With a maximum of eight guests, there is plenty of time to slow down, ask questions and notice the things that are easily missed when hiking on your own.

At Brudslöjan, we stay for a while. Together we make a fire using a fire steel, and you will learn how to safely use a knife and axe before we prepare our lunch over the open fire.

Then it is time to sit down, enjoy the food and the surroundings, with coffee or tea and something sweet by the waterfall. For those who wish, there is also an opportunity to take a refreshing swim near the falls.

Throughout the day, your local guide shares knowledge about the nature, landscape and history of the area, while leaving plenty of room for quiet moments and simply experiencing the forest.

To make the experience even more present, this is a mobile-free adventure. Previous guests have really appreciated putting their phones away for a few hours and having the chance to experience the day without distractions.

You won't miss the photos. Your guide documents parts of the adventure, and a selection of photos is shared with you afterwards at no extra cost.
