Informations sur le produit

Meet your guide in the center of Brussels and enjoy a comfortable train journey to Bruges. Sit back and relax as you travel through the Belgian countryside on the way to one of the most charming medieval cities in Europe.

Upon arrival, discover why Bruges is known as “the Venice of the North” and why its entire historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at highlights such as the romantic Lake of Love (Minnewater), the 13th-century Begijnhof, and Walplein Square, a perfect spot to enjoy the local atmosphere.

Walk along Stoofstraat, see the medieval Old St. John’s Hospital, admire the Church of Our Lady with its impressive brick tower, and pass by iconic landmarks like Gruuthuse Palace and the Dijver Canal. Visit Rozenhoedkaai, one of the most photographed corners of the city, and explore Market Square (Grote Markt) with its famous Belfry.

Then, enjoy free time to have lunch (at your own expense) and taste some of Bruges’ delicious chocolates.

Next, continue by train to Ghent, a lively city rich in history and character, whose inhabitants are famously known as the “noose-bearers” since the time of Charles V. On a guided tour, discover landmarks such as the Castle of Gerald the Devil and Saint Bavo Cathedral, home to the world-famous painting The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb by the Van Eyck brothers.

Admire the Belfry, the impressive Town Hall with its Gothic and Renaissance styles, and St. Nicholas’ Church facing the striking Masons’ Guild House. Stroll along the medieval harbor of Graslei and see highlights such as the Castle of the Counts of Flanders, the Great Butchers’ Hall, the Old Fish Market, and Friday Market Square.

Enjoy some free time in this magical city before returning by train to Brussels.
