From here, continue through the city center towards the waterfront, passing by hidden corners and local spots along the way. Arrive at the Black Diamond, the modern extension of the Royal Library, where the city meets the water and your canal experience begins.
Enjoy a relaxing ride on Copenhagen’s electric harbor ferry. This is a local experience and a unique way to see the city from the water. From the ferry, see the Copenhagen Opera House, Nyhavn waterfront, and a mix of modern and historic architecture along the harbor. If the ferry is not available, continue with a scenic walk along the canal.
After the ferry, continue your journey through some of Copenhagen’s most historic and scenic areas. Arrive at the impressive Gefion Fountain, where your guide will explain the Nordic legend behind the creation of Zealand. Continue to Kastellet, one of the best-preserved star-shaped fortresses in Europe, offering beautiful views and fascinating military history.
