Informations sur le produit

Starting from the coast, from the Pointe du Grouin du Sud in Saint-Léonard or the Bec d'Andaine in Genêts, crossing the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel from one shore to the other remains the best way to experience this exceptional natural area. Away from the crowds, in a landscape that is constantly changing, I will share my knowledge of this unique ecosystem with you.
After a brief introduction to the activity, we take off our shoes to better feel the ground of the bay. We head toward Mont Saint-Michel, which is 6 kilometers away. This walk through the sand and the Tangue (the name given to the mud of the bay) is punctuated by commentary on the phenomenon of the tides, the work to restore the maritime character of Mont Saint-Michel, the fauna and flora of the bay, etc. We cross streams with water up to our knees, sometimes a little deeper (I always take care to choose the crossings best suited to the group). We experience the quicksand (often a highly anticipated moment) in complete safety. Upon arrival at Mont Saint-Michel, we take a break of 45 minutes to an hour. It is then time for us to return to our starting point and finally to part ways after having enjoyed a convivial and shared experience.
