LAGOONDY surfing lessons take place in Biarritz on the legendary Côte des Basques beach. Voted the most beautiful beach in France, "the beach of the Surfing Uncles", where surfing began in Europe in 1957.

Meet us at our Lagoondy bungalow in front of the beach. Bins are available for storing your belongings in our coat check.

LAGOONDY surfing discovery session: 1 hour 30 minutes

Discover surfing in complete safety under the guidance of our DE instructors. We limit the number to 6 students per instructor, who will be in the water with you to help you progress.
Basic theoretical explanations on the beach and a safety briefing.
Depending on the wave conditions and the low tide, we always organize this session on the sandbar where you can stand, so that you can catch as many waves as possible in complete safety.

Level 1: Technique / Safety / Independence in the water / Marine and Environmental Awareness
• Gear up (wetsuit - leash)
• Catching a wave while lying on the board
• Standing up on the board
• Maintain your balance while standing on the board
• Follow the safety briefing when there is a current to catch the foamies.
• Observe the reference point (instructor, flag, etc.)

During the class, we provide you with surfing gear, a board, and a wetsuit suited to your size and the water temperature.

LAGOONDY Mini Course: 3 Surfing Lessons of 1.5 Hours Each
The mini course is a package of 3 surfing lessons of 1 hour 30 minutes each, supervised by our DE instructors. We limit the number to 6 students per instructor, who will be in the water with you to help you progress. In addition to the introductory session, to consolidate the basics of surfing. You can sign up for 3 consecutive days or alternate your surfing sessions throughout the week.

Level 2: Technique / Safety / Independence in the water / Marine and Environmental Awareness
• Getting up quickly on the board
• Maintain your balance while standing on the board
• Turning to the right or left in a standing position
• Protect your head in the event of a fall
• Catching a wave while bodysurfing
• Follow the safety instructions when there is a current
• Paddle effectively to catch the waves
• Master your take off
• Maintain your balance while standing at the bottom of the wave

During the class, we provide you with the gear, board, and wetsuit suited to your size and the water temperature.
