Take time to explore the monument and its sweeping views over the Douai Plain. Your guide will give you a full tour of the memorial to understand its significance, story and artistic symbolism.

From there, continue through Vimy Park and surrounding sectors, passing preserved trenches, shell craters, and cemeteries that quietly bear witness to the scale of the conflict. Learn about Canada's famous battle in 1917 and the role of the Four Divisions of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.

Your journey then leads to Notre-Dame de Lorette, France’s largest military cemetery, and the nearby Ring of Remembrance—an extraordinary memorial that honors 580 000 soldiers of all nationalities who fell in the region.
