Informations sur le produit

This private walking tour is designed to delight all 5 senses and introduce you to the former capital of Provence through its shapes and colors, flavors, aromas, works of art, architecture, and history.

Aix-en-Provence was founded over 2,000 years ago... I arrived in 2019, ready to tell you all about it in Spanish, English, or French.

Hi! I'm Luli, an Argentine with 7 years of experience as a tour guide in this small town where I chose to settle down... purely for aesthetic reasons ♥! I've decided to launch this multi-sensory sightseeing tour to share the local delights with you and give you the best experience of the historic center.

Immerse yourself in local delights for a few hours. For example, you can take a photo with the statue of Cézanne, admire the difference between the Baroque quarter and the medieval area, drink from the fountains of "the city of waters," be shocked by the prices in the clothing boutiques, pet cats in a very special bookstore, discover the secret origin of the shape of the calisson, and enjoy the cheeses, wines, tapenade, and other gourmet delights of the region.

Meet at the entrance of the Pavillon Noir (because I don't want you to miss three contemporary buildings that also enhance our city and that hardly any sightseeing tours include). The tour lasts approximately 4 hours and includes:

● 2.5-hour walking tour of the historic center, with explanations of history, culture, and local fun facts
● Breaks for food tastings of local specialties (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are market days, and you can try an even wider variety)
● Farewell with local products as gifts (Marseille soap and a bag of lavender per person, a box of calissons for the group)

Come and indulge yourself and live up to that Provençal saying that celebrates vacations: "To do nothing is to live twice."

Optional (depending on your interest and the artist's availability):
● Visit to a local artist's studio to admire works depicting the region's landscapes and culture, with the opportunity to meet the artist and chat
