Try the sport of gig rowing, which has originated in the West Country over the last 60 years in boats which are based on the original 1700s pilot gig design.

Begin your 2-hour session with a tour of the harbour taking in the fascinating marine history of Weymouth and Portland, before heading out in the exquisite panorama of Weymouth Bay.

Where conditions allow, swimming from the boat is possible for the adventurous types among you.
