Enjoy a highlights tour of a selection of the British Museum's unmissable artefacts. This selection will include treasures such as the Parthenon Sculptures from Greece, the Rosetta Stone from Egypt, the Sutton Hoo ship burial objects from the UK, the Nereid Monument from Turkey, and many more famous and important artefacts from ancient civilisations from around the world. Carol will share her knowledge and passion for these treasures, bringing their history to life.
Carol is an experienced guide, who has been guiding tours of the British Museum for 25 years, having completed a training course there. She is an official, qualified Blue Badge Guide, based in London.
The tour starts at 66 Great Russell St, London WC1B 3BN, UK.
Meet on the opposite side of the road from the British Museum's main entrance, at the corner of Great Russell Street and Bury Place, outside the Highland Store (see photo showing the meeting place and the guide Carol). Carol will meet you at the Highland Store.
The tour finishes at the British Museum.
