Explore the highlights of Hadrian's Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a guided tour. Visit Housesteads Roman Fort, the most complete example of a Roman fort in Britain. After a tour around the fort, walk along some of Hadrian's Wall and soak in the incredible landscapes.

Continue to the outdoor fort and indoor museum at Vindolanda, which provides a fascinating profile of Roman life before and after the building of Hadrian's Wall. After the forts, there is an option to sample some locally brewed real ales from the Twice Brewed brewery and tap rooms.

In the afternoon, drive to the picturesque village of Corbridge where you can take a late lunch. Take a short tour of the village and then have some free time to explore the independent shops, cafés, and riverside. A visit to the famous Grants Bakery is a must.
