Informations sur le produit

Witness the vast mountains and wide open spaces of the Scottish Highlands on a tour through some of its most special places. See castles crumbling dramatically against craggy hills, and enjoy peaceful views of glassy lochs nestled between peaks and glens. Learn about the rich history and folklore of the area, and see some of Scotland's most celebrated scenery.

Leaving Edinburgh, we will make our way westwards towards the beautiful village of Luss, nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond. Once there, you will have 30 mins to explore this wonderful quaint conservation village, voted 'the most beautiful village in Scotland' by some.

Approximately an hour away is the stunning Inveraray Castle, 'The Rest and Be Thankful' mountain pass is en route, and we will stop here for some quick photos of the fantastic scenery. 10 mins photo stop.

Moving on, we will take you to the iconic Inveraray Castle, home and residence to the 'Duke and Duchess of Argyll', (the Duke of Argyll holds the title of Clan Chief of Clan Campbell) open to the public with a cafe in the basement. 30 mins stop

Our next stop is Kilchurn Castle, a great stop for photos. A formidable fortress in its time, it lies partially ruined surrounded by water on three sides. 10 mins photo stop

Next we will make our way to the most photographed place in Scotland: The Three Sisters of Glencoe. This is an incredibly beautiful mountain viewpoint full of poignancy and historical relevance.

From here, we will make our way back through Rannoch Moor - the largest bog expanse in the UK - and the famous Loch Tulla viewpoint. There are several photo stop opportunities along the way.

Finally, we will stop over at the Trossachs Woollen Mill in Kilmahog, where you will be able to feed some snacks to their three Highland Cows: Honey, Hamish and Baxter.

From here, we are on our way home, but to break up the journey we will stop over at the towering Kelpies - the largest equine statues in the world.
