Visit the last pitched battleground on mainland Britain, Culloden Battlefield. Take a walking tour of the site and find out why there was such a devastating loss of life during the battle, causing an end to the Jacobite era.

Drive along Loch Ness to see if you can spot the loch’s most famous resident, Nessie. Stop for a photo opportunity of the loch and picturesque Urquhart Castle. Visit the pretty Highland village of Drumnadrochit, then follow the rugged landscape of Glen Urquhart to the village of Beauly.
