Derry – Included on Both Options

Choose Your Donegal Experience

Option 1 – 7.5 Hours: Grianan of Aileach

For a shorter day, cross the border into Donegal and visit Grianan of Aileach, an ancient hilltop fort overlooking the surrounding countryside and Lough Swilly.

Perched high above the landscape, the fort provides spectacular panoramic views and a fascinating introduction to Donegal.

This option is ideal if you want to experience Derry and get a taste of Donegal without making it a very long day.

Option 2 – 9 Hours: Inishowen Peninsula

For a longer Donegal experience, continue into the spectacular Inishowen Peninsula, travelling through rugged coastal landscapes and the dramatic Mamore Gap.

This option allows more time to explore the region and includes the opportunity to add an optional visit to one of Inishowen's most interesting attractions.

Doagh Famine Village – Optional

Fort Dunree – Optional
