Founded by the Romans, a powerful Abbey in the Middle Ages, and a thriving market town for centuries ever since. Explore the many independent stores, colourful lanes and impressive church.

Thereafter we continue our journey through the heart of the Cotswolds by visiting some picturesque, hand-picked villages and locations, which are deliberately kept secret. We will avoid the now overrun locations, which have been affected by mass tourism from London.
