Informations sur le produit

Let yourself be guided (and seduced)!

You will be accompanied on your walking tour by a tour guide certified by the Federal Association of Tour Guides of Germany (BVGD).

He will greet you in historical garb as a night watchman or abbot for your walking tour at the Fountain of the Münzenberg Musicians in the Old Town Market Square and begin the tour during the transition from day to night, which is still referred to today as the "Blue Hour". In the past, it was the time when the city gates were closed and it was ensured that no more guests could enter or leave the city. Today, it is the romantic hour during which special impressions can be experienced.

Your guide will lead you through the narrow "Petersiliengasse" past the Blasii Church to the traditional Lüdde brewery. From there, you will head out of the old town directly into the Westendorf to the legendary spot where the royal crown was offered to the Saxon Duke Heinrich. Then you will walk across the Schlossplatz and discover the Klopstockhaus. At the foot of the mountain, your path will lead you to the imposing sandstone rocks, which the locals simply call "cliffs". Your guide continues his walking tour to show you the smallest half-timbered house in our city and, not far away, the narrowest. Once you reach Brandgasse, you will learn about the duties of the night watchman. Your route now leads across the "Fleischhof" past the timber-framed building and ends at the market square with a view of the Town Hall with its Roland statue, which is romantically illuminated in the dark.

Learn the name of the city's most popular beer, why Augustus the Strong sold our city to the Prussians, and where Brandgasse gets its name. On your cheerful and enjoyable walking tour, your guide will tell you many anecdotes and share some juicy tidbits from behind the scenes.
