See how porcelain pieces are shaped on the potter’s wheel and how individual components are carefully assembled to create detailed figurines. Learn about underglaze painting and the significance of the blue Crossed Swords. At the final workstation, discover how intricate motifs are painted onto the glazed porcelain entirely by hand.

Your guide will explain the different production stages, the special features of Meissen porcelain, and the high level of craftsmanship required to create each piece.

After the approximately 45-minute guided tour, explore the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation independently.
