Informations sur le produit

Explore the Wadden Sea on board the rustic fishing cutter (boat) Gret Palucca or Rosa Paluka on a seal-watching boat trip from List, Sylt. Discover the resting places of resident seals and marvel at the cutest inhabitants of the North Sea. Observe local wildlife in their natural environment. The most likely time to see seals on the trip is two hours before and two hours after low tide.
Take off from the harbor on your choice of Gret Palucca or Rosa Paluka. Gret Palucca is more than 70 years old and is maintained and restored winter after winter. Rosa Paluka was built in the 1960s and worked as a real fishing boat before returning in 2007 as a tour boat.

During the cruise, a net will be launched to catch mussels, crabs, small fish, and starfish to observe before releasing them back into the wild. The fisherman on board will give you insights into the marine life of the North Sea as you admire these unique creatures.

Rappels

  • Not Suitable For: People with mobility impairments

  • Know Before You Go: Boarding & disembarking the ship: The gangway to the ship can be very steep at low tide, making it almost impossible to get people with wheelchairs on board. Guests with walking aids can therefore only board the ship to a limited extent; we recommend taking the trips at high tide

  • Know Before You Go: Moving around the ship: To get into the interior (e.g. for wedding ceremonies on board) a small, steep staircase must be climbed

  • Know Before You Go: Toilet: not barrier-free
