Next, head to Vergelegen, with its beautiful gardens and vibrant heritage. The superb vintages from this estate are only matched by the wonderful food at their restaurants. After a sumptuous lunch and excellent wines, head to the third and last estate for the day.

On the slopes of the Hottentots Holland mountain range lies Idiom estate, specializing in Italian cultivars and producing divine wines with spectacular views looking over the Cape flats to the peninsula.
