Explore the Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk on a guided tour from Durban. Learn about the boardwalk and its incredible bird species. Spot rare birds and little creatures as you hike through the forest.

Depart from Durban and head to the town of Eshowe. Visit the Dlinza Forest and walk along the 150-meter-long boardwalk built above the forest floor. Admire the flora, fauna, and avifauna at treetop level.

Climb the 20-meter-high tower and take in dramatic views of the forest canopy and surrounding countryside. The Dlinza Forest is on the Zululand Birding Route and is home to over 90 species of birds and 85 different types of butterflies.

Hike through the forest and listen to the happy chatter of the birds. Spot blue duikers, bushpigs, chameleons, beetles, and bushbuck. Keep an eye out for rare birds such as Crowned Eagles, Narina Trogon, Spotted Ground Thrush, Green Twinspot, and Purple Crested Turaco.
