Informations sur le produit

This private experience combines a guided Table Mountain hike, Cableway descent, a Cape Town City driving tour, and lunch in Bo-Kaap.

Your day starts with a private pickup from your accommodation — this experience is built entirely around your pace and comfort from the first minute.

Your Guide leads you up Table Mountain via a route matched to your group's fitness level, sharing stories about the mountain's flora, fauna, and history as you climb. From the summit, take in sweeping views over the city bowl, Table Bay, and the surrounding peaks, then descend in comfort aboard the iconic Table Mountain Aerial Cableway rotating cable car.

Back at ground level, you'll pass through District Six and the heart of the Mother City on your way to Bo-Kaap — Cape Town's most photographed neighborhood. Wander past its rainbow-colored houses and hear the real story behind them, along with the deep-rooted Cape Malay heritage that still shapes the area today. It's the perfect lead-in to a traditional Cape Malay meal, with dishes passed down through generations.

Your Guide drives you back to your accommodation, leaving you time to relax and reflect on a day of breathtaking scenery, local culture, and unforgettable flavor.

CHOOSE THE TABLE MOUNTAIN ROUTE THAT SUITS YOU BEST:

• PLATTEKLIP GORGE — The classic route to the summit and a traveler favourite. Although technically straightforward with no bouldering or extreme exposure to heights, the route is steep and remains physically demanding. The distance covered is ±3 km and the duration is usually ±3 hours with an easy to moderate difficulty rating. It's suitable for most fit beginners as well as experienced hikers. It's not recommended for those with knee or hip injuries.

• INDIA VENSTER — A stimulating climb over demanding terrain, with sections of scrambling assisted by fixed metal chains and staples. The distance is ±4 km, duration ±4 hours, and the difficulty rating is strenuous and challenging. It's best suited for experienced hikers and fit individuals. We do not recommend this route for children, beginners, or those with vertigo or a fear of heights.

• KASTEELSPOORT — A scenic route up Table Mountain’s Twelve Apostles range and a great alternative for hikers seeking a less crowded yet worthwhile climb. The distance is ±5 km, duration ±4 hours, and the trail has a moderate difficulty rating. It's best suited for fit nature lovers but not recommended for those with a fear of heights. This trail features the famous Diving Board rock formation.

• SKELETON GORGE — A unique ascent through indigenous forest with some scrambling and ladders, it's ideal for experienced hikers wanting variety. The distance is ±7 km, duration ±4 hours, and the difficulty rating is moderate to strenuous. It's an enjoyable yet challenging and technical climb. Best suited for experienced hikers and fit individuals but not recommended for young children, beginners, those with joint injuries, and those with a fear of heights.
