Informations sur le produit

Spend a full day traversing the world-renowned Cape Peninsula.

The first highlight takes place in Hout Bay with a boat ride to Seal Island where you'll witness hundreds of Cape Fur Seals in their natural habitat. After a refreshing walk on the harbour, we'll set off for Cape Point, passing iconic landmarks such as Chapman's Peak Drive and Slangkop Lighthouse.

On arrival at Cape Point, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views of False Bay colliding with the dramatic peninsula mountains. A serene natural setting known as the Cape Floral Kingdom, not found anywhere else on Earth, will surround you. Moving towards the point we'll most likely witness one of the many beautiful creatures that call the reserve home, such as Chacma Baboons, Cape Ostrich and Bontebok to name a few.

Upon arrival at the point, you'll have a lunch to remember at the Two Oceans Restaurant which is perched overlooking the entire False Bay. After lunch we'll take the Flying Dutchman Funicular up to the Old Lighthouse where you'll be able to see the actual point, False Bay and even the Atlantic Seaboard.

Departure will lead us out of the reserve to Boulders Penguin Colony, a location that exists due to years of successful conservation efforts for this marine bird. Once you've had your fill of cuteness, we'll journey back to your accommodation as we pass through other well-known coastal towns such as Simons Town, Kalk Bay, St James and Muizenberg.

As you sit and unwind from the exciting day, deep down in your heart, mind and soul, the Cape Peninsula will begin calling out to you. This feeling is a common side effect when a human meets The Cape. It is what has called many from all over the globe, across the ages, to come and see, come and be and maybe even come and live.
