Experience one of Nepal’s most scenic short Himalayan treks, combining spectacular mountain views, charming Gurung villages, lush rhododendron forests, and an unforgettable sunrise from Poon Hill (3,190 m).

Poon Hill is one of the most popular viewpoints in the Annapurna region, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna I (8,091 m), Machhapuchhre/Fishtail (6,993 m), and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m). Arrive before sunrise and watch the first rays of sunlight transform the snow-capped peaks into beautiful shades of pink and golden hues.

Along the way, explore the traditional villages of Ghandruk, Tadapani, and Ghorepani, while trekking through peaceful forests filled with rhododendrons and enjoying the spectacular Himalayan scenery.

Day 1: Pokhara – Kimche – Ghandruk – Tadapani
After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, drive by 4WD jeep for approximately 2.5 hours to Kimche. Begin your trek through the scenic countryside toward Ghandruk, a beautiful traditional Gurung village. After lunch, continue trekking for approximately 4–5 hours in total before reaching Tadapani (2,610 m). Overnight at a local lodge.

Day 2: Tadapani – Ghorepani
After breakfast, begin your trek toward Ghorepani (2,860 m). Walk through beautiful rhododendron forests and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. After approximately 4 hours of trekking, including lunch, arrive at Ghorepani and check into your lodge for the night.

Day 3: Poon Hill Sunrise – Ulleri – Pokhara
Wake up early at around 4:30 AM and begin the climb to Poon Hill at approximately 5:00 AM, using a torchlight along the trail. After around 45 minutes, reach Poon Hill (3,190 m) just in time for sunrise. Watch the golden morning light illuminate the magnificent Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Return to the lodge for breakfast, then trek downhill for approximately 4 hours to Ulleri. From Ulleri, drive by jeep for around 2.5 hours back to Pokhara, marking the end of your memorable Annapurna adventure.
