Product Info

Begin your day with a trip to the northeastern highlands of San Cristóbal Island. Make your first stop at El Junco Lagoon, the only permanent freshwater lagoon in the Galápagos. Observe frigatebirds and other seabirds flying over the lagoon and washing the salt from their feathers.

Continue to La Galapaguera, a breeding and conservation center for San Cristóbal giant tortoises. Walk along natural trails surrounded by native forest and birdlife while observing young and adult tortoises in a semi-natural environment. Learn about the programs developed for their protection, breeding, conservation, and repopulation.

To conclude the morning, visit Puerto Chino, a beautiful white-sand beach surrounded by native vegetation. Enjoy free time to rest, relax, swim, and have fun in the waves. Blue-footed boobies may also be spotted in the area.

After the visit, return to the departure point.
