Product Info

Discover one of Costa Rica’s lesser-known natural gems on a private day trip designed around authenticity and
connection with the landscape.

This experience centers around a visit to a beautiful private finca located near the foothills of Poás Volcano. The property features pristine rivers, multiple waterfalls, a turquoise-blue natural spring, and the unique “Crying Cavern.” Crystal-clear waters originate in the volcanic highlands and flow through the property, creating ideal conditions for safe river swimming — an experience increasingly rare to access in Costa Rica.

From the parking area, a short walk leads into the property where the natural setting unfolds gradually, offering a peaceful and immersive environment far removed from crowded tourist sites. Guests are encouraged to explore, swim, and enjoy the surroundings at their own pace.

The day includes a rustic picnic-style lunch consisting of a wrap or sandwich, chips, and a refreshing beverage. For those who prefer, nearby local eateries offer traditional Costa Rican food options.

On the return journey, the experience includes a stop in Sarchí — one of the country’s most culturally iconic towns — known for its vividly painted oxcarts and the world’s largest decorative carreta. This stop provides insight into Costa Rica’s artisan traditions and rural identity.

This private experience balances nature, culture, and flexibility, allowing the day to unfold organically based on your interests and comfort level.
