This high mountain hike starts at 3,100 meters above sea level, moving along gravel paths that cross the páramo, one of the most extreme and fascinating ecosystems in Costa Rica. As you gain altitude, the wind, fog, and landscape will accompany you until you reach 3,491 meters above sea level, on one of the country's most iconic hills. Beyond the adventure, this place holds deep historical importance, being a key step and natural setting that is part of Costa Rica's memory and identity. A high-altitude hike, so it's recommended for people who regularly exercise or have hiking experience
