Product Info

Explore the forests of Oro Verde, a family-run reserve in Bahía Ballena, Costa Rica, and enjoy an authentic local birdwatching experience.

Accompanied by one of our tour guides, many of whom are members of the Duarte family, pioneers of the Oro Verde project, you'll explore different places, from dense forests to open areas, in search of the colorful birds that inhabit the area, including endemic species and Costa Rican residents.

The adventure begins in a cozy, rustic space, where our tour guide will welcome you with all the necessary gear for birdwatching. Along stone and dirt paths, you'll explore the natural richness of the surroundings, testing your patience and sharpening your senses, as at any moment you could come across a group of exotic birds or a solitary species singing its song among the foliage.

After approximately three hours of exploration, you'll round off the experience with an authentic Costa Rican breakfast: the traditional Gallo Pinto, recognized as one of the healthiest breakfasts in the world.
