Product Info

Haven’t explored San Telmo yet?

Without a doubt, it is one of the neighborhoods you simply cannot miss!

On this tour, we will take an amazing walk through some of the most picturesque corners of the city, on a historical journey that will transport you back to Colonial Buenos Aires, its architectural styles, customs, and secrets.

We will begin at Parque Lezama, on the border with the neighborhood of La Boca, placing ourselves exactly in the year 1536. We will explore the fascinating history of the founding of Buenos Aires and try to imagine that intercultural encounter with the native peoples.

We will admire architectural gems such as the Russian Orthodox Church, with its Neo-Byzantine style.

We will move forward through the 17th and 18th centuries, discovering buildings founded by the Jesuits and the Bethlehemites, such as the Parish Church of San Pedro González Telmo.

We will walk along the street where the British troops entered at the beginning of the 19th century, and we will visit iconic buildings such as the Ezeiza family residence, built at the end of that century.

We will delight in the flavors and aromas of the San Telmo Market, exploring its tempting food court.

You will have the chance to take charming photos, including the narrowest house in the city of Buenos Aires and a sky full of colorful umbrellas.

Bonus track: If you come on a Sunday, we will walk through the famous San Telmo Fair.

I will show you El Viejo Almacén, a traditional tango house where, at night, you can enjoy a spectacular show with some of the best artists in our country.

We will finish by visiting Mafalda!

The tour ends on the border between San Telmo and Montserrat, an area full of bars, art, history, food, beer, antiques, and much more.

San Telmo will be yours! Enjoy it

We look forward to seeing you!
